Paul & Jimmy's Ristorante has been a landmark in Gramercy Park since 1950 — one of New York City's longest-running and most beloved Italian restaurants. In 2026, longtime patrons and neighbors Vinny and Melanie Russo became the proud new custodians of that legacy, committed to honoring 75 years of history while carrying it forward for the next generation. Executive Chef Greg Azzollini remains at the helm, guiding the kitchen back to its Neapolitan roots — handmade pastas, timeless Italian-American classics, and the kind of honest, soulful cooking that made this corner of Gramercy Park feel like home to everyone who ever walked through the door.

We found Paul & Jimmy's while looking for a restaurant near Union Square after a day of walking. Staff welcomed us warmly & we didn't need to wait for a table at the 5:00 hour. The food was delicious! The flavors of our pasta were wonderful & authentic. We were grateful they were able to accommodate a gluten allergy. We finished up with dessert & it was worth it!

We arrived at noon on a Friday afternoon and had no problems getting seated. Our service was excellent, professional and prompt. The food was delicious. My salmon was tasty and ample portion.

Delicious, authentic Italian food with great service & price! Started with the calamari which was awesome. The carbonara was great and healthily portioned. The gnocchi was very flavorful and definitely homemade. With tourist trap Italian spots scattered around the city, I'd recommend stopping by this place if your nearby.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was so nice and mellow. As a tourist, it was definitely a great little Italian place. And the cannoli was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend!
